Weddings

When you read the company history, you’ll see that weddings were the impetus for the founding of Ritz Charles. Appropriately, the first event we hosted at Ritz Charles was a wedding reception. Since then, we have hosted more than 4,000 --- each wonderfully unique and personal. With years of experience, our staff helps couples plan the wedding of their dreams --- down to the icing on the cake!

• Elegant facilities set an appropriate stage for one of the most important events in your life.
• Couples can choose to have their ceremony in the beautiful chapel.
• The spectacular ballrooms, lush garden pavilion and traditional chapel give couples a variety of options for their ceremony and reception.
• Receptions can range from butlered hors d’oeuvres to beautiful buffets with finger foods to elegant buffets with ice sculptures to exquisite formal seated dinners.
• An inviting indoor alcove makes an ideal site for intimate photographs of the bride and groom.
• Ritz Charles includes a dance floors, cake table, gift table and cake plating service at no additional charge.
• Brides are provided a helpful list of suppliers we have worked with, including photographers, florists, pianists and organists, harpists, guitarists, bands, and other entertainers to help them plan their event.

Receptions

• The catering staff works with you to create a delectable menu and hosts a preview tasting for the bride, groom, and parents.
• Bars are well stocked with premium brands and tended by licensed bartenders. Special requests ranging from a champagne fountain to specific wines to a margarita bar can be accommodated.
• Our pastry chefs work with you to design the wedding cake and groom’s cake of your dreams in the flavor of your choice.

Chapel

• The new, non-denominational chapel that accommodates 260 guests is especially designed for weddings.
• A wedding day coordinator who knows wedding etiquette ensures that everything goes as planned.
• Guests enter the beautiful vestibule where they sign the guest book and are ushered to their seats.
• Oak floors and white rattan chairs with white cushions set a reverent, yet romantic tone.
• State-of-the-art acoustics and a sophisticated audio system ensure that guests enjoy the music, ceremony and vows.
• There is a separate bridal dressing room with a separate private entrance so the bride and her attendants can enter without being seen.

Garden Pavilion

The Garden Pavilion gives you an “outdoor” option at Ritz Charles. Though it’s enclosed for protection from unpredictable Indiana weather, the translucent walls bring the outdoors in --- beautifully. The pavilion seats 300 guests for fun or formal events.
