Banquet Server

As a server at Ritz Charles, you play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience at every event. This position offers flexible scheduling that can be adjusted weekly and throughout the year to accommodate your availability. An employee must work a minimum of 2 weekends per month for employment.

Candidates must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 lbs. Applicants ages 18–20 must have a valid Indiana Restricted Liquor Permit. Applicants age 21 and older must have a valid Indiana Liquor Permit. This requirement does not apply to applicants ages 16–17. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to serving multi-course meals, providing table-side beverage service, clearing and resetting tables, maintaining buffet presentations, and assisting with post-event cleanup. Event locations vary, with both on-site and off-site opportunities available. Shifts may include daytime, evening, and weekend hours based on event scheduling.

Event Set Up & Truck Driving

Ritz Charles is currently hiring event set-up crews and truck drivers for both on-premise and off-premise events. These roles are essential to the success of our events and require individuals who are dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with physical labor. A valid driver’s license is required, and individuals with truck-driving experience are strongly preferred, particularly for our off-premise teams.

On-premise set-up personnel work at our Carmel facility, where responsibilities include moving and setting up tables, assembling dance floors, and preparing event spaces according to detailed layouts.

Off-premise personnel begin their day at the Carmel location, where they load trucks with event equipment and then travel to various venues around the Indianapolis area. Once on site, the team is responsible for unloading and setting up tables, buffets, bars and preparing event spaces according to detailed layouts.

All set-up team members must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, as the job involves handling large and heavy equipment. Work hours vary daily and may include both daytime and evening shifts depending on the event schedule. Additionally, both on-premise and off-premise set-up personnel will work as a Back of House crew member who assist primarily with event breakdown, including loading trucks at the end of the event and returning equipment to our facility.
